Yesterday evening I was at the party organised by Laura to welcome back to Warsaw the icon of the diplomatic pop-culture in Poland :), our good friend Oswaldo, the ex-consul of Peru.
Actually I didn't recognise him for the first sight: since he returned to Peru an year ago, he lost 26 kilos of weight. He left as a fat piggy and came back as a latin macho. :)) All of us who knew him before - we were all shocked. I even told him that he could rise fortunes patenting his method for losing weight. Women all around the world would pay him millions to know the secret. :)
As usually at Laura's parties, there was a lot of people (this time also Oswaldo's friends), and very good food (a lot of tuna staff which I like, superb lasagna, and also nice cakes), good Italian wine, and nice atmosphere.
And of course, after one year, we'll have the unique chance to appear in the next "Świat Elit" issue on a photo together with Oswaldo. :)
It's always nice to see a "lost" diplomatic friend. Unfortunately it's something really rare...
